Your portrait

Your portrait brings together your basic profile, current questionnaire answers and card responses. It is a starting point for reflection, not a personality test or a judgment about your relationship.

Generating a portrait requires at least 20 answered cards; skipped cards do not count. Existing portraits remain dated snapshots. Changing an answer does not automatically regenerate a portrait or use your allowance. Private chat and suggestions can use your current answers without waiting for a new portrait.

Open Profile to read your portrait or request an update. The app shows whether an update is available and any usage limits before you proceed. More card responses give Elisa more context, but AI interpretations can be incomplete or mistaken.

Cards · Usage limits and availability

After your usual allowance runs out, available personal hearts can cover extra messages, ideas or profiles. You can also choose to buy permanent photo spaces. See your heart bank for current prices and how it works.

Open Portrait to explore or update it. When you have no portrait and an included generation is available, your first portrait starts automatically on this page. Otherwise, the page explains how to answer more cards or lets you choose an available generation option. Existing portraits update only when you request it. The refresh button appears after you add or change answers to 20 cards since the last portrait. Tap Your portrait in the header to see your monthly generation usage and how many more cards you need to answer. Skipped and deleted answers do not count. Resetting your answers keeps your saved portrait and restarts progress at 20 cards.

If you change your app language, choose Translate on the portrait's language notice. Translation is free, even when your monthly generation allowance is used up or you have reset your answers. It preserves the same portrait and its original date. Switching back to a previously translated language reuses that translation.

Tap the share icon in Portrait to share the portrait you are reading. Choose your partner or another destination in your device’s share sheet. Nothing is sent until you choose. If your browser cannot share, the portrait is copied instead.
